Trickling Springs Creamery established in 2001 is just a small town creamery. We are currently processing approximately 150,000 lb. of milk per month. The creamery is located in historic Chambersburg, Pa. just off Interstate 81, 10 miles north of the state Pa/Md. State Line. Our focus is to provide the highest quality dairy products to our customers, from the highest quality dairy cows. Our milk is All Natural and Certified Organic. We like Milk in Glass Bottles because it taste better , but we will put it in plastic for you. Our milk comes from local dairy farms within 25 mile radius of the Creamery in the Cumberland Valley of Pennsylvania. We have a personal relationship with our farmers. The farms all focus on the natural way of farming and we personally haul our own milk from these farms.
What is the natural way of farming?
- Grass-Fed Cows from Spring through Fall with a high quality Hay based ration in the winter
- No Antibiotics
- No Synthetic Hormones (rBST)

How does Trickling Springs Creamery do Pasteurization?
- We use a HTST system. (High Temperature, Short Time)
- The faster the better when it comes to flavor
- Heat the milk from 36 degrees to 180 degrees and back down to 36 degrees in 3.5 minutes.
- This is not Ultra-Pasteurization
- All of our products our pasteurized.
What is Homogenization?
- It's the forcing of milk through a real fine screen at about 3000 psi, which breaks down the fat particles in the milk. Thus you do not have separation of the cream or flavorings.
- Not all of our milk is Homogenized.
- We offer a Whole (3.50%) Creamline and a 2% Creamline Milk
- The Cream does come to the Top!

How does Trickling Springs Creamery do Separation?
- We use a cold separation method, which makes a better quality cream.
- All of our products are standardized.
- Our Nonfat Milk is less than the highest legal standard of .49%. It normally runs at about .25% to .33%. We do NOT reconstitute with skim milk powder
